Habibat Salman Saidu was, born on 7th June 1964 to late Daudu Ballah, Sheikh Salman Olarongbe Abdulkadir and late Hajiya Hauwau Akanke Salman Abdulkadir ( nee Buhari Oloko-ile) at Ilorin, Kwara State.
Hajiya Habibat is married to Rtd. Hon. Justice Saliu Saidu, and is blessed with children.
She retired as a Permanent Secretary from the service of Kwara State Government, and had held various positions, which include chairman, Governing Council, Maryam Babagida National Centre for Women Development, Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Kwara State, and others.
Hajiya Habibat's resilience, commitment, dedication to Qur'anic academic pursuit resulted in her appointment as a member of the Board of Trustees of Markaz Imam Shuaib Alaye organization.
